Champa Collections

Champa Collections is located at Mysore-House on Jacob Road. It is in the Civil Lines area, which is usually a bit calmer than the rest of the city. We have a variety of items here for people to look at. It is mostly clothes and accessories, the kind of stuff people look for when they want something specific but not mass-produced. The building itself is older, and our space has that lived-in feel. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. Sometimes it is hard to keep the shelves tidy because new stock keeps coming in and we run out of room. We spend a lot of time sorting through fabrics and checking the stitching on things. We don’t really do big sales or fancy events. People just stop by when they are in the neighborhood or passing through Civil Lines. We have had some customers coming to us for years now. It is nice to see familiar faces. The light in the morning is quite good in the front of the shop. We usually open up around ten and stay until the evening. Sometimes we stay late if a shipment arrives behind schedule. Jacob Road can get a bit busy during the school rush, but otherwise, it is a decent spot. We try to keep a good mix of things so there is always something different to look at. It is just a regular business run by people who like the work.
