Centre Point Hotel

Our hotel is tucked away at 24 Central Bazar Road in the Ramdaspeth area of Nagpur. It’s a pretty well-known part of town, and the 440010 neighborhood has a certain feel to it that we really like. We’ve been running the Centre Point Hotel as a local business for a long time. It’s not a shiny new skyscraper; it’s a building that has some character and has seen plenty of guests come through. Most people who stay with us are here for work or visiting relatives nearby. We don’t use any of those big marketing agencies to tell our story. We just tell people we have clean rooms and we are right on the main road. The trees along Central Bazar Road give us a bit of shade, which is nice when the Nagpur heat gets really intense in the summer. Inside, the lobby has some old photos and chairs that have been sat in by a lot of different people over the years. We spend our mornings checking the kitchen and making sure the newspapers are out for the guests. Our staff usually knows the names of the people who stay for more than a couple of days. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just providing a place to sleep and a bit of breakfast in a part of town we know very well.
