Babbu Hotel

You can find us right at Mominpura Square in Nagpur. We are located directly opposite the Islamia School, so we get a lot of foot traffic from students and parents throughout the day. Mominpura is a lively neighborhood, and we are right in the middle of all the action. Our hotel is a basic eatery where we focus on getting the food out fast. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but we like it that way because it feels like home to us. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us working the kitchen and the floor every day. During the lunch hour, the place gets packed and it can be hard to find a seat, so people often share tables. We don't take reservations or anything like that, you just show up and wait for a spot to open up. The street outside is always noisy with horns and people shouting, but that’s just Nagpur for you. We keep our prices fair so that everyone in the community can afford to eat here. It’s a lot of long hours, starting early in the morning to get the prep work done before the first customer arrives. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We’re just a local business trying to serve the 440018 area as best as we can. It’s a lot of work but it’s our life.
