Our place, Camelica Overseas Pvt. Ltd., is out at Plot. No.132 in the Umiya Indistrial Estate. It is right off Bhandara Road in Kapsi Khurd. Being in an industrial estate means there is always trucks moving around and the sound of machinery in the distance. We have a warehouse and a small office attached to it. It is where we handle all the overseas stuff, mostly moving goods and checking crates. The dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are always cleaning the desks. It is a big space but it fills up fast when we get a large shipment in. We have been here for a while now, and we know most of the other business owners in the estate. It is a hard-working area. We spend most of our time on the warehouse floor or at the loading dock. The office part is just some desks and filing cabinets. It is not a place for visitors really, just a spot to get the paperwork done. We have a small crew who knows how to handle the heavy lifting. The weather gets really hot out here in the afternoons, so we try to get the outdoor work done early. It is just a straightforward operation. We focus on getting the crates moved and the orders filled correctly. No big fuss about it. We just keep the boxes moving and make sure the paperwork is filed away.
