We are located right Opposite Sanskar Convent, Dighori Chowk, Umrer Road. Being at a junction like this means there is always noise from the trucks and cars passing by. Bombay Hardware And Paints is a busy little place. We have a mix of hardware items and a good amount of paint too. The front of the shop is often crowded with pipes or ladders that we don’t have room for inside. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the different boxes of nails and hinges. We get a lot of parents dropping in after they leave the school across the road, usually looking for something small like a screwdriver or some glue for a project. It’s a lot of heavy lifting here. Moving those big five-liter paint tins takes a bit of effort. The dust from the road settles on everything, so we are always wiping things down. We aren't trying to be a big corporate store. It’s just a place where you can find what you need to fix a door or paint a fence. We spend the day talking to contractors and homeowners about what kind of bolts or primer they should be using. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three people want different things at once, but we just handle it one by one. It's a practical shop for people living around the Dighori area who just need to get their work done.
