B L Trading

B L Trading is located at Shop No.11 on Amravati Road in Dattawadi. It is a very busy stretch of road, especially with the Asha Hospital being so close by. You can always hear the sirens and the sound of cars rushing past our front door. Because we are in a row of shops, we spend a lot of time talking to the other shopkeepers about how business is going or where to get the best lunch. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be clever about how we stack our inventory so people can actually walk inside. It gets a bit chaotic when a delivery truck arrives and we have to unload everything onto the sidewalk before bringing it in. We’ve got a small desk in the back where we keep the calculator and the receipts. It’s a lot of manual work, checking boxes and making sure everything matches up. We don't have any fancy marketing people telling us how to act. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer to walk in. Amravati Road can be a bit of a dusty place in the summer, so we’re always wiping down the counters. It’s just a regular trading business where we try to stay honest and keep the shelves full. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to this part of Dattawadi for years and they know they can find us here.
