Anupam Silver

Working at Anupam Silver keeps us pretty busy most days of the week. Our place is inside Anantrai Chambers, which is right by the Tanga Stand Square. If you know the New Itwari Road area, you know how hectic it can get with all the carts and people moving around. Itwari has its own rhythm, and we’ve been a part of it for a good while now. The shop is tucked into the Kesriyanath Society section, so it’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't familiar with the building layout. We handle silver items and spend a lot of time checking stock or talking to the folks who drop by. It’s not a shiny, modern office or anything, just a practical workspace where we get things done. Some days the Tanga Stand Square is so loud you can hardly hear yourself think, but that's just part of being in this part of the city. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. People mostly find out about us from their neighbors or by walking through the chambers. We keep our heads down and focus on the work at hand. The floors are a bit worn and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. It’s where we’ve spent most of our adult lives, really. We just hope the tangas don't block the square too much when we're trying to leave at night.
