Ayush Ice Parlour

You have to walk up the stairs to find us since the shop is on the first floor of the SV Complex. We are right on Railway Station Road, so you can hear the trains blowing their whistles at all hours of the day. The stairs are a bit narrow and old, and sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, but once you get inside the parlor, it is usually cool and quiet. We have a few simple tables set up where people can sit and rest for a bit. Most of the people who come in are either heading to the railway station or they just got off a long train ride. They usually look pretty tired and hot from the journey. We keep the ceiling fans going at full speed to keep the air moving. The SV Complex is an older building, so it has its little quirks, like the windows that do not always shut all the way. We spend our mornings cleaning the glass counters and making sure everything is stocked up for the day. It is not a huge or fancy place, just a simple parlor for people to visit. We do not do any big advertising or anything like that. People just find us because we are so close to the station. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic from the window. It is always a big mess down there on the road with the rickshaws and cars. We have got some regular customers from the offices nearby who come up for a short break in the afternoon.
