We are located at E-3 in the MIDC Industrial Area. Archana Industries Transformers Pvt. Ltd. has its home right in the heart of this industrial zone. It is a big, open building because we need the space to handle the transformers we work on. The ceilings are high and the floor is concrete, usually with some heavy equipment sitting on it. It gets very hot in the summer out here in the industrial area, but we just keep the big fans running and get on with it. There is a specific rhythm to the day here. We start with a quick check of the schedule and then the guys get to work on the different sections of the factory floor. It is a noisy environment with the sound of cranes and tools, but that is just how a transformer plant should sound. Our office is just a few partitioned rooms off to the side where we handle the orders and the technical specs. We do not have any fancy furniture or expensive art on the walls. It is all very practical. We have some old calendars and charts for reference. Most of our clients are other businesses who just want to know when their equipment will be ready. We do not give them any corporate fluff, just the facts about the progress. It is a busy, dusty, and honest way to make a living.
