Anupam Kirana Bhandar

Anupam Kirana Bhandar has been sitting on the Bus Station Road in Sadar Bazar for quite a while. Sadar Bazar is always a bit chaotic with all the carts and people moving around. Our shop is a simple kirana place where we keep the usual groceries. We have big bags of sugar, flour, and different types of lentils stacked up near the back. The walls are lined with wooden shelves that have seen better days. It is a family thing, so there is usually one of us sitting at the front. People from the nearby streets come here because it is convenient. We do not have those bright supermarket lights. It is more of a traditional store where you ask for what you want and we weigh it out for you. The scale we use is an old one but it works just fine. Being near the bus station means we get a lot of noise from the engines and the passengers. It is a dusty part of the city, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the jars. We do not really have a big team, just a couple of us helping out. The shop does not look like much from the outside, but we have almost everything a household needs. Most of our day is spent talking to the neighbors who stop by for a chat. It is just a regular local shop in the heart of the bazar.
