Anshu General Store

Our little spot is located at 4, Kirti Complex, right on Nikalas Mandir Road in Itwari. If you are looking for Renuka Boutique, we are just right there nearby. Nagpur can get pretty loud during the day but we stay here behind the counter watching the traffic go by. This shop isn't anything big, just a general store where we keep the things people usually need for their kitchens or kids. Sometimes we get the morning crowd looking for milk or the newspaper, and then it gets quiet for a while until the sun starts to go down. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the shelves are always getting dusty no matter how many times we wipe them down with an old rag. We don't have those fancy scanners or uniforms here. It is just us and the items we sell. Most of the time, the fan is spinning above us trying to push the heavy air around. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first name or at least what they usually buy. It's a simple life running a shop in Itwari. You see the same faces and hear the same stories every week. We try to keep things on the shelves but sometimes we run out of stuff and have to wait for the next delivery truck to squeeze through the narrow road.
