Ajanta Ice Cream

Ajanta Ice Cream is located at Shop No. 25/37. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Lalmati Gopal Hotel. It’s a well-known landmark in the area, so people usually find us pretty easily. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. Most of our day is spent standing behind the counter or moving things around in the back to make room for new stock. Being near the hotel means there are always people walking around, especially in the evenings when things cool down a bit. We keep the floor swept and the glass clean, though the dust always finds a way back in. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here. We don’t go in for anything flashy. We just focus on the freezers and making sure the power stays on. Sometimes the street outside gets crowded with parked bikes and people talking, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. We’ve been at this shop for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers nearby. We share a tea sometimes when things are slow. It’s not a complicated business. We open up, we serve whoever comes in, and we make sure everything is locked up tight at night. It’s just a local shop near Lalmati Gopal Hotel, doing what we do every day without much fuss or bother. We just hope the fridge keeps humming along and the customers keep coming.
