5Prakrti Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in a village called Pandarvani in the Nagpur district. We are set up at the place of Shri Baba Anandrao Urkude. Being in a rural area like Nagpur means our daily life is very connected to the land and the local farmers. The office isn't really an office in the city sense; it’s more of a meeting point in the village. You won’t find any glass buildings or air conditioning here. We usually sit on the verandah or in a simple room with a ceiling fan that creaks a bit. There’s the sound of goats and chickens nearby, and usually, someone is passing by on a bicycle. We spend our time talking about seeds, weather, and how the crops are doing. People come by at all hours, not just during business hours, because that’s how village life works. We keep our records in big registers and try to stay on top of the paperwork required for the company. It can be a bit slow when the internet goes down, but we just use that time to talk more with the farmers. It’s a very basic, honest way to run a company. We are just a group of people in Pandarvani trying to help each other out with our farming work. We don't need much more than a sturdy desk and a few chairs to get through the day's tasks. Usually, there is some shade under the trees if it gets too hot inside.
