Over here at number 220 on Golden Street in Punnai Nagar, we’ve got our little setup. We are right off Rajakamangalam Road in the Kanyakumari district. It’s a nice part of the world to work in. The office is a simple room where we manage everything for SantaIndia. We spend most of our time looking at orders and making sure things are being sent out to the right places. It gets quite busy during the holiday seasons, but the rest of the year is more of a steady pace. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been here for a while. The street is usually quiet, which is good for staying focused. Sometimes we walk down towards the main road to get some food or run errands at the local shops. It’s a very local feel here. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls, just some calendars and shelves filled with boxes. We aren't trying to be some big global firm; we just like running our business from this corner of Kanyakumari. It is a lot of checking lists and packing parcels. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up a bit on the corner desk. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy and trying to get everything done before the sun sets. We enjoy being part of the community here in Punnai Nagar and seeing familiar faces every day. It’s a good way to earn a living.
