A C L Lighting

A C L Lighting is located at 441 Agastheeswaram Road. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking, but we’re there every morning. Lighting is what we do, obviously. Most days are spent looking at bulbs, fixtures, and wiring drawings. It can get pretty bright in the shop with everything turned on at once. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We mostly just deal with folks who come in needing a specific part or some help with a setup. It’s a lot of manual work, getting things tested and making sure everything actually lights up when it should. The road outside can get a bit dusty during the dry season. We keep a few chairs for when friends or long-time customers drop by to chat. It’s not a high-pressure environment here. We take our time to make sure things are right. Sometimes we have to wait on deliveries for a few days, which is just part of the business. You learn to be patient. My hands are usually a bit dirty from moving boxes or handling hardware. It's a living. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. Just us in the shop on Agastheeswaram Road. If the lights are on, we’re probably inside working. It’s quiet mostly, until the afternoon rush. Some of the older fixtures we have are real pieces of history. We don't throw much away if we think it might be useful later. That's just our style.
