Jilani Hardwares

Our shop, Jilani Hardwares, is tucked away inside the B Road area near Delhi Gate in Nagaur. If you know the old city, you know the roads can be a bit narrow and very crowded with people and carts. We’ve been at No. 11/A for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the market is just waking up and everyone is out. There’s always someone shouting or a bike honking nearby, but you get used to the noise. We have a lot of stuff crammed into a small space. It’s the kind of hardware store where you might have to move three things just to get to the one item you actually came for. We don’t mind it though. It’s got a lot of character and history. We know our customers by name mostly. They come in for a chat as much as they do for tools or supplies. Nagaur is a historic place and you can really feel it when you walk around the Delhi Gate area. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright LED lights. Just the basics on the shelves. It’s a family-run business and we all chip in to help. Sometimes my son stays late to try and organize the bins, but it never stays organized for long once the morning rush starts. We just do things the old-fashioned way. It's worked for us so far.
