Krushi Bharati Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at 9-50, which is right near the Panchayat Office in Munnangi. Being near the office makes it easy for folks to find us when they are in town doing their other business. We are a collective of farmers from this area. We started this because we wanted a better way to handle our produce and get the things we need for our land. It’s not a fancy setup at all. You’ll usually see a couple of us sitting around discussing the latest crop prices or talking about the weather. Munnangi is a small place, so everyone knows who we are and what we do. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. We just have our office and our fields. Most of our work is done outside, but the office is where we gather to make decisions. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes things don’t go as planned, but we stick together. We talk to each other in plain English, no corporate talk here. If someone has a problem with their harvest, we see if we can help out. It’s just how we do things in our village. We’ve been working this land for a long time and this company is just an extension of that. We take it day by day and hope for a good season for everyone.
