Tamilagamhotel

We are located at 2/1C, Marriyamman Mela Madavilagam in Nagapattinam. This is in Tamilnadu, South India, 611 001. Our hotel is a local place for people who are visiting this part of the coast. It is not a luxury resort with a lot of extras. It is just a simple building with rooms for rent. We are quite close to the temple area so things get very busy during the festival times. We see a lot of pilgrims and travelers passing through the doors. The building itself is a bit old but it has its own character. We don't have fancy air conditioning in every single corner of the building. We use ceiling fans mostly to keep the air moving. It is more of a family-run kind of feel here. We handle all the bookings ourselves on the spot. Sometimes we are busy cleaning the rooms and other times we are sitting at the front desk. There is always something that needs to be fixed or painted. We don't have a big website or any fancy advertisements. Most people just walk in or hear about our place from someone else in town. Nagapattinam is a coastal town so the air always feels a bit salty. We have to keep a close eye on the metal bits so they don't rust too quickly. It is a quiet life for the most part. We provide a place to sleep and that is about it. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just a basic hotel.
