Hotel Chilambu

We are located at 31G in the Town Extension area. We are right opposite the bus stand, which makes it very easy for people arriving late at night. You just cross the road and you’re here. Because of the bus stand, there’s always noise—horns honking and drivers shouting out destinations. We’ve gotten used to it. The hotel is a simple building. We don't have many decorations. We focus on keeping the beds clean and the bathrooms working. Most of our guests stay for just one night before catching another bus. We see a lot of tired faces. We try to get them checked in quickly so they can rest. The staff takes turns watching the entrance. In the evenings, we sit by the door and watch the crowds move in and out of the station. It’s a busy part of 609001. We don't offer much else besides a room. There’s a tea stall nearby if people want a drink. We keep a ledger of everyone who stays. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. The rooms are basic, with just the essentials. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights. People know us because we’ve been here for years. It’s just a regular place for regular people. Sometimes the water pressure isn't great, but we try to fix it. We don't make any big promises, we just do our best every day to keep the place running for the travelers.
