Good Shepherd Nursery & Primary School

Good Shepherd Nursery & Primary School is located in Karuvelankadai, in the Andanapettai area of Nagapattinam. It is a small place for the younger children in our town. We have been here for quite some years now. The school is not very large, just enough rooms for the different classes. We are near the coast, so the air is usually a bit salty. We don't have a marketing department or anything fancy. We just have a sign outside and people know where we are. The teachers are local people who know the families in Karuvelankadai. We spend our days teaching the kids how to read and write and behave themselves. It is a simple life. We don't have the latest technology or shiny new buildings. We have desks, chairs, and books. When it rains heavily in Nagapattinam, we sometimes have to close for a day, but mostly we are here from morning till afternoon. The kids play in the yard during their break and we keep an eye on them. We don't make big claims about being the best. We just try to do an honest job every day. Parents come by to talk about their kids' progress and we just tell them how it is. No corporate polish, just a regular school for regular people. We have been a part of this community for a long time and we like it that way. It's just our little school.
