Yadav Computer

People usually find us because we are right near the Malaria Office here in Ward No. 6. It’s a busy little spot in Karbi Anglong, and there is always something going on outside. We started this place because everyone around here needed a spot to get their computer things sorted without having to travel too far. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just part of living here, but we try to get things done when it’s back. It’s mostly just us sitting here with the machines, fixing screens or helping someone print out a form they need for school or work. The office isn’t anything fancy, just some desks and a lot of cables everywhere. You might see a bit of dust because of the road right outside, but we keep the equipment running as well as we can. Most of the folks who come in are neighbors or people who work nearby. We don’t really do much advertising, word of mouth works better in a place like this anyway. If the shop is open, someone is usually inside drinking tea and looking at a motherboard. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local shop trying to help people stay connected and get their paperwork finished. We’ve been here for a while now and most people know the way. It gets pretty loud when the traffic picks up in the afternoon, but you get used to it after a few years of working in this part of town.
