Out here in District-Morigaon, specifically in the Purani Telahi area near Bangal Dhara, things move at a much slower pace than the big cities. Msb Bricks Pvt. Ltd. has been part of this local landscape for some time now. We are tucked away near P.S. Dharamtul. It is a lot of manual labor, honestly. You wake up early, check the morning weather, and hope it does not rain too much because that ruins the whole drying process. The soil around here is what we use to make everything. It is just how it has always been done by the people before us. Most of the workers live nearby and we all know each other and our families. It gets pretty loud when the machines are in full swing but otherwise, it is actually quite peaceful. We do not spend any money on fancy signs or radio advertising. Most people find us because they live in the district or someone they know told them where we were located. The office is just a small room with some old chairs and a desk covered in stacks of papers. We spend most of our time outside under the sun anyway. It is dirty work, and your clothes never stay clean for very long around here. Sometimes we take a short tea break and just sit by the brick stacks. It is a basic life but it is what we know.
