Assam Valley Agriculture Limited. We are located on NH 37, right on A.T. Road. If you know where the All India Radio station is, then you’ve probably seen our place nearby. It’s a loud area because of the traffic, but we like being where the action is. Agriculture is what we do every single day. We deal with a lot of local growers and people who just need stuff for their land. The morning starts early here, usually before the sun is even fully up, because that’s when the farmers are out and about. We keep a lot of stock in the warehouse and it’s always a bit of a puzzle trying to keep everything organized. The guys in the back are always moving crates or checking on the equipment. It’s a lot of physical labor and nobody here is wearing a suit. We wear boots and old shirts because there’s no point in trying to stay clean when you’re working with soil and machinery. Being near the radio station helps people find us, which is good because the road can get confusing sometimes. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It's just us, some coffee, and a lot of work to get through before the sun sets. Sometimes the rain here in Assam makes things a bit messy, but you just put on a jacket and keep going. It’s a simple life and we’re happy to be part of the local community.
