Proper Bearing Centre

Proper Bearing Centre is located at Door No-12 in the Municipal Shopping Centre. We are very close to Sherkhand Talav, so we get a bit of a breeze from the water sometimes. The shopping centre is a hub of activity with all kinds of small businesses. Our shop is filled with metal bearings of every size you can think of. It’s a specialized kind of place. People don't just wander in; they usually come because something broke and they need a replacement. We spend a lot of time looking at part numbers and measuring things with calipers. It’s a hands-on job. The shop floor is usually a bit dusty, and there is a smell of cold metal and lubricant in the air. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing department. It’s just us behind the counter. We’ve learned a lot about machinery over the years just by talking to the mechanics and builders who buy from us. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to stay on top of the stock. It’s a solid, honest business. We like being near the Talav because it’s a nice landmark for our customers. When things get quiet, we just reorganize the bins. It is a steady way to spend the day and we are happy with it.
