Ghanshyam Gruh Udyog

Being near the railway station in Dist Kheda means there is always noise and people moving about. We set up Ghanshyam Gruh Udyog here because it was convenient for getting materials in and out. It is a small home-style industry where we make various items by hand. We have a group of local women who come in and help with the work every day. Usually, we are sitting on mats on the floor, sorting through materials or packing things into small bags for the market. It is a very social atmosphere, lots of talking and laughter while we work. We make things that people use in their homes every day. The smell of whatever we are cooking or preparing usually wafts out into the street. Sometimes travelers from the station stop by out of curiosity to see what we are doing. We don't have a big sign or anything, just our work. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we have a lot of orders to finish, but we manage. My kids often come by after school and sit in the corner doing their homework while we finish the day's tasks. It is a simple life and the work is steady. We are not trying to be some big corporation. We just want to keep our little business running and provide for our families while making something useful for the neighbors. It feels good to be part of the community here near the tracks.
