We are the Nabadwip Cooperative Bricks And Pottery Society Ltd., and you can find us on Bamacharan Roy Road. We are pretty close to Nadia College, so we see a lot of students and teachers walking by every single day. Since we are a cooperative, we have a few different people involved in the decision-making process. It isn't just one person running everything from the top down. We do both bricks and some pottery work, though the bricks take up most of the space on Plot No- 43. The yard is usually full of stacks in various stages of drying in the sun. Sometimes the pottery side of things gets a bit dusty and messy, but that is how it is when you work with clay all day. We have been around for quite a few years now. Our office is just a small room with some old wooden furniture and a lot of files stacked up on the shelves. We try to keep things organized, but it gets busy and sometimes things end up where they shouldn't be. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to chat or see what we have ready to go. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. We just do the work and hope the results are okay for people. The sun is our biggest helper for drying the clay. When it is cloudy for too many days, we all get a bit restless waiting to finish the work.
