Green Computer

Green Computer is out here in Palpara, which is part of Badkulla. It’s a local shop where we handle whatever computer problems people in the neighborhood have. Badkulla is a decent place to live and work. We don't have a massive showroom with glass walls. It's more of a practical room with a few workbenches and some shelves for parts. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors from Palpara. They bring in towers that won't boot up or printers that are jammed with paper. We spend a lot of time on the floor checking cables and power strips. The weather gets pretty humid here, which isn't great for electronics, so we try to keep things as cool as possible with the ceiling fans. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive from the bigger cities. People here are patient, though. We might be drinking some tea while we wait for a software update to finish loading. It’s a slow pace compared to the city, but we like it that way. There is always someone coming in to ask for a new mouse or just some blank discs. We’ve been in Badkulla long enough that most people know where to find us in Palpara without needing a map. We just keep the shop open and take things as they come and hope the internet stays stable for the day.
