Our place is in a small village called Palpara, specifically in the Netaji Nagar area. It’s in the Nadia district of West Bengal. Being out here in the village is very different from the big city offices in places like Kolkata. It’s quiet, and there is a lot of green around us, which is nice for a change. Our post office is Chakdaha. We’ve been here for a long time, working on local projects and helping out with construction needs in the region. The office is really just a simple building that we use to keep our records and meet people who need our help. We don't have fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people know where we are just by asking around the village or looking for the Netaji Nagar landmark. It’s a very personal way of doing business. We know our neighbors and their families quite well. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because we are a bit far out, but we manage to get the work done anyway with a bit of patience. We mostly use paper and notebooks for the daily stuff because it feels more reliable. The pace of life here is definitely slower, and we actually like it that way. We work hard during the daylight hours and usually finish up before it gets too dark to see. It’s an honest way to spend the time, working on things for the community.
