Venom Lounge Bar

Venom Lounge Bar sits right on Mysore Hinkal Road here in Hinkal. We’ve been at this spot, No 986/624, for a while now. If you know the road, it’s pretty easy to find. Most days it’s just about getting the chairs straight and making sure everything is wiped down before people start showing up. The traffic outside can get a bit much during peak hours, but inside it stays okay. It isn’t some fancy place where you have to dress up a certain way. We just keep the lights at a decent level and handle the usual crowd that comes through Hinkal. Sometimes the Mysore weather makes people want to stay inside a bit longer. We don't do anything too complicated. Just a bar where you can sit down. The floor needs a good sweep every night because of the dust from the road. You see the same faces often, people who live nearby or work around here. It’s a simple building, nothing too flashy on the outside, just the name and the door. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running, checking the stock, and making sure the music isn’t too loud that you can’t talk. It's just a regular part of the neighborhood on this side of Mysore. We don't try to be something we aren't, just a local spot where you can grab a drink and relax after work.
