St Alphonses High School

Our school is located right at the Jp Nagar Last Stop, which is a busy spot near Mahadevapura. If you’ve been down toward Nachanahalli Palya in Mysore, you’ve probably seen the buses turning around near our gate. It gets quite dusty around here when the wind picks up, but it’s a lively place to be. We have a routine that we follow every day, starting with the first bell and ending when the last bus leaves. Most of the people working here live in the nearby parts of Mysore, so we walk or take a short ride to get in. St Alphonses High School isn't a massive place, but we have enough room for the kids to move around during their breaks. The halls are usually filled with the sound of students talking or teachers trying to get everyone to settle down. We don’t really do anything flashy; we just focus on the books and the daily schedule. There’s always some maintenance to do, like fixing a leaky tap or painting a wall that’s gotten scuffed up over the year. The neighborhood is growing quite a bit, with new buildings going up all the time, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. It feels like a small community inside these walls, and we like it that way even when it gets a bit chaotic during the lunch hour.
