Sri Balakrishna Food Products

We’ve got our setup here at 23F in the Industrial Suburb area of Mysore South. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s quiet enough for us to focus on what we’re making. Sri Balakrishna Food Products is basically just a group of people who know how to handle ingredients. The smell of whatever we’re processing usually fills the whole block. Some days it’s spices, other days it’s something else. We spend a lot of time cleaning up, which is the main part of working with food. You have to keep everything tidy even if the building itself looks a bit old from the outside. The third stage is a busy place during the mornings with all the workers arriving. We usually start quite early, before the sun is fully up, to get a head start. My cousin helps out with the books, and my brother is usually on the floor making sure the machines are running right. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our customers have been buying from us for a decade. They know we are just regular people working hard. We have a small break room where we eat lunch together. It’s nothing special, just a table and some chairs, but it’s where we catch up on local news and relax for a bit before the afternoon shift starts.
