220/1, Kannada Sahithaya Bhavan Road. Vijayanagar II Stage. Mysore. Parikalpana Constructions is based out of this nice area. Mysore is a bit slower than Bangalore, and we like it that way. Our office is near the Sahithaya Bhavan, so it's a quiet neighborhood with a lot of trees. We do a lot of residential building. We like to sit down with people and just draw out what they want on a piece of paper. It’s not very high-tech. We have a small team of engineers and masons. We spend a lot of time at the sites making sure the bricks are laid right. Sometimes we have to wait for the rain to stop before we can pour any concrete, so we end up sitting around and talking about the news. We don't have any big slogans. We just want to do a decent job so that we don't feel bad when we see the owners at the market. Most of our work is right here in Vijayanagar or nearby. We know the soil here and what kind of foundations work best. It’s a practical business. We don't spend much on advertising because Mysore is small enough that word gets around if you do a bad job. We just try to keep our workers happy and the customers satisfied with the work we finish. We aren't looking to become a giant company, we just want to keep building good homes.
