Medical Transcription

We are based in the Brigade Residency building, specifically at Flat 105. It's at 41 Gokulam Main Road in the V.V. Mohalla area of Mysore. Our pin code is 570002. We do medical transcription work from this apartment. It’s a fairly quiet place, which is good because we need to focus on what we’re hearing. The flat has been turned into a workspace with a few computers and some good headphones. Mysore is a nice city to live in, and V.V. Mohalla is one of those neighborhoods that feels comfortable and established. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It's just a small group of us sitting at our desks for most of the day. We listen to recordings and type out what is being said. It can be repetitive, but it’s what we do. The view from the window is mostly of the other buildings and some trees on Gokulam Main Road. We don't have a big lobby or a sign on the street. Most people wouldn't even know we are here unless they were looking for Flat 105. We just keep to ourselves and get the work done. Sometimes the coffee runs out and we have to go down to the local shop, but otherwise, we’re mostly glued to our screens. It is a practical way to run a transcription service without all the extra costs of a big office. We just focus on the audio and the typing as we go along.
