Karnataka Spices (P) Ltd.

Started on Mallur Road years back. We deal with all kinds of spices here. It gets pretty busy around harvest time. Mostly we just focus on getting things dried and sorted properly. The building isn't anything fancy but it does the job for us. People know where we are. We've stayed in this same spot for a while now. My uncle started it, and now we just keep it going day to day. Sometimes the dust is a bit much, but that’s just how it is with spices. We get a lot of trucks coming in from the local farms. It’s noisy and loud sometimes. We handle the grinding and packing right here on site. You can smell the chili and turmeric from a block away usually. Some days are slower than others. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk and some chairs near the entrance. Most of the space is for storage and the machines. We try to keep things organized, but it gets messy when we have a big shipment. It's hard work, and the hours are long during the peak season. We just do our thing and stay out of trouble. Not much more to it. If you’re looking for the place, just look for the gates on Mallur Road. We're usually here from early morning until the sun goes down.
