K P S Engineering Works

K P S Engineering Works is located at No. 1517 on the 5th Cross of Irwin Road, right in the heart of Lashkar Mohalla. This shop has been here for a long time, and we have the old machines to prove it. We do all kinds of engineering jobs, from simple welding to more complex lathe work. The space is quite small and always smells like machine oil and metal shavings. If you walk in, you’ll probably find me or one of the boys hunched over a piece of equipment, trying to get a measurement exactly right. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. People just come to the door and shout over the noise of the grinders. We fix a lot of things for the local residents, like broken gates or bicycle parts, but we also handle bigger pieces for small factories. Lashkar Mohalla is a busy area, and there is always something happening on the street outside. We like being in the middle of it. Our tools are old but they are reliable, much like the way we run the shop. We don’t use any fancy computer programs to design things. We just use a pencil, a ruler, and the experience we’ve gathered over the years. It’s not a clean job, and our clothes are always stained with something, but we enjoy the challenge of fixing something that looks like it’s beyond repair. That is just how we do things here.
