Harsha Refrigeration

Our place is out at 8, Industrial Area in Yadavagiri. It’s where Harsha Refrigeration operates from. Being in the industrial area means it gets pretty loud with all the factories around us, but it’s the right spot for the kind of work we do. We have a lot of floor space for the bigger cooling units and heavy machinery we work on. The air always smells a bit like metal and coolant. We don’t have a fancy front office with air conditioning for ourselves; we just work where the machines are. Most of the time, we’re out on-site at different plants, but there’s always someone at the Yadavagiri shop. We started small and just stayed in this area because it’s practical. You won't find any glossy posters on our walls. It's mostly just calendars and notes scribbled on bits of paper. We fix things when they break and try to make sure they stay fixed for a while. The trucks come and go all day, bringing in stuff that needs looking at. It's a lot of heavy lifting and getting our uniforms dirty. We don't mind the grime much. It’s part of the trade. If you’re looking for us, look for the big blue door in the industrial estate. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. It's just honest work in a busy part of the town. We've stayed in Yadavagiri because it feels like home now.
