G21 CONSTRUCTIONS is a small company we set up to handle building work around the city. Mysore is a bit more relaxed than Bangalore, which we like. We mostly do residential projects or small commercial blocks. The office is just a regular room where we sit down with our drawings and try to figure out the best way to get a job done. We aren’t a huge firm with lots of departments, it’s just a handful of us who know how to build things. We spend most of our time at the sites making sure the walls are straight and the materials arrive on time. Sometimes the supply of bricks is short or the rain stops us for a few days, but we usually find a way to manage. We don’t really bother with big advertisements. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s been a few years since we started here in Siddartha Nagar, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of work here. It’s simple, honest construction work. We like seeing a house go up from nothing. It takes a lot of effort and sometimes it is frustrating when things don't go as planned, but that is just part of the job. We keep a small crew and just take it one project at a time.
