7 Hills Nuts & Spices

Our place is out on Kollegal Road in Mullur. We’ve been running 7 Hills Nuts & Spices from this spot for a bit. It’s mostly a lot of sacks of different spices and bags of nuts piled up in the back. The air always smells like cardamom and pepper when you walk in, which is something you get used to after a while. We spend most of the morning weighing things out and getting packages ready. Mullur is a quiet enough area, so we know most of the folks who pass by. It’s not a polished showroom or anything, just a practical space where we store and sell what we have. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit late because of the road, but we try to stay on top of it. My cousin helps out with the heavy lifting and we mostly just talk about the day's tasks while we work. People come to us because they need spices for their cooking or some nuts for a snack. We don't put on any airs about it. It’s just a regular local business. We keep the doors open and try to be helpful if someone asks a question. Most of the time it’s just the usual routine of sorting and packing. It keeps us busy and the bills paid. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping the shelves full and the floor swept.
