Sanjana Play Home

Sanjana Play Home is located over in the Belavadi area within Ilavala Hobli in Mysore. It is a relatively quiet part of town, which actually works out well for the small children who spend their days here. We started this place because there was a real need for a spot where kids could just be kids while their parents were busy. The building is not huge, but there is enough room for them to run around and play with the various toys we have collected over the years. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready before the families start dropping the little ones off. It is usually quite noisy, as you can imagine with a group of children, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. The floors often get messy with wooden blocks and crayons by noon, and we spend a good chunk of time cleaning up before the next day starts. We do not have any of that fancy playground equipment you see in the big city schools, but the kids here do not seem to mind much. They mostly just enjoy having others to talk to and play with.
