Running a small service shop like S S Watch Mobile Service on Sarvajanika Hostel Road keeps us pretty occupied. Being in Vidyaranyapuram, we get a lot of locals dropping by with broken screens or watches that just stopped ticking. It's a simple setup we have here in Mysore. Most of the day is spent hunched over a workbench with small tools and tiny screws. Sometimes it’s a quick battery change, other times it’s a phone that won't turn on at all. We've seen it all, really. The road outside can get a bit noisy with the traffic heading through Vidyaranya Puram. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a couple of us handling whatever comes through the door. It’s practical work. People depend on their phones so much now, so they’re usually in a hurry to get them fixed. We do what we can as fast as we can. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The shop isn't hard to find if you know the hostel road area. We’ve been at this for a bit now, and most people around here know they can just drop in. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where we work every day. It’s straightforward. We fix things, people pay us, and that’s the day done. We have a few drawers full of spare parts and old watches we use for pieces. It gets a little dusty sometimes but we keep the tools clean.
