You can find us at Kumar Watch Mobile Service on K N Pura Road. We’re tucked away in the Kyathamaranahalli area of Gayathripuram here in Mysore. It’s a local neighborhood spot, really. We spend our days mostly looking at small parts under a magnifying glass. Whether it’s an old wrist watch that needs a new spring or a smartphone with a cracked glass, we take a look at it. There are lots of shops around here, but people seem to find their way to us at number 7, 1. It’s a small space, filled with tools, spare parts, and half-finished repairs. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People just drop off their stuff and come back later. The walk-in traffic is mostly folks from around Gayathripuram. We’ve lived and worked in Mysore for a long time, so we know how people like things done. Sometimes the parts take a few days to arrive, and we have to explain that to the customers. It’s just how it goes with electronics and mechanical watches. We don’t use any high-tech systems to track things, just a simple logbook and our own memory. It works for us. The shop is our second home, and we’re here most days from morning until late evening. It’s honest work, and we’re glad to be a part of the local scene on K N Pura Road. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work on those tiny watch gears.
