Working as a Jr F&B Supervisour in Mysore means you spend a lot of time on your feet. We are based in Hebbal 1st Stage, which is a decent area but it keeps us on our toes. The daily routine is mostly about checking the stock and making sure the food orders are coming in like they should. It isn't a very glamorous job, honestly. It involves a lot of counting and making sure the staff has what they need for the lunch or dinner rush. Mysore has a different feel than the bigger cities, but the work is still steady. Most days, I am just moving between the storage room and the main floor. The building we are in is quite plain, nothing like those big corporate offices you see downtown. We deal with delivery drivers early in the morning, which is always a bit chaotic. Sometimes a crate of something will go missing or an order will be wrong, and then we have to spend the afternoon sorting it out. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We don't have much in the way of a fancy office, just a small space to keep our logs and records. It is a bit tiring, but that is just how the food and beverage business goes. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get everything finished before the sun goes down. We just do our part here in Hebbal.
