Glow Tronics Private Limited

We are based at 1-D in the Hootagalli Industrial Area. It’s a bit of a drive out, but it’s a good spot for a factory like ours. Glow Tronics Private Limited is mostly about the assembly lines and the testing stations. We have long tables where people sit and work on small components. The lighting inside is very bright because we need to see the tiny details of what we are putting together. It’s a fairly quiet place compared to a machine shop, mostly just the clicking of tools and the sound of the ventilation system. We wear lab coats or aprons to keep the dust off the parts. The floor is painted gray and we try to keep it clean, though bits of wire and solder sometimes end up in the corners. We have a break room where we keep a kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon. Outside, the industrial area is full of other units, so there’s always a truck passing by or someone working on a nearby roof. We don’t have much of a front desk; usually, someone just walks out from the back if there’s a knock at the door. It’s a steady rhythm of working through the batches and checking the quality of each piece. We stay focused on the tasks until the shift ends and then we lock up. It’s just a standard day in Hootagalli.
