Our place, Uannti Sawastik Foods, is located in Mithanpura, right near the Hanuman Mandir. If you reach the Ramna post office, you’re basically there. We mostly deal with food processing. It’s a modest setup. We don't have those shiny glass walls or a big reception desk. Usually, you’ll find us in the back checking the batches or talking to the workers. The temple nearby means we hear the bells every morning, which is a nice way to start the day. We’ve had our share of ups and downs with the business. Some days everything runs smooth, and other days the supply of raw materials is late and we’re just sitting around waiting. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. I might be doing the books one hour and helping load a truck the next. We try to keep things clean and follow the basic rules for food safety, as you’d expect. We aren't some huge corporation with millions in the bank. We’re just a local company trying to make decent food products for the people around here. It’s a simple life and the work is steady. We appreciate the people who buy from us because it keeps the lights on and our staff employed. It’s not always easy, but we have stayed in Mithanpura for a reason. It’s home.
