Nothing

This place is in the village of Saraiya, which is under the Muzaffarpur district here in Bihar. It’s a rural area, so things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities like Patna. Our office is right near the post office, which is how most people find us if they are visiting from outside. Being in a village means we know almost everyone by name, and they know us too. We are just a small group of people running Nothing from a modest building on the main village path. It isn't a modern office with air conditioning or fancy glass partitions. We have basic wooden desks and some old chairs that we’ve used for years. During the monsoon, the roads around Saraiya get a bit muddy and difficult to navigate, so we have to be careful coming in. But in the winter, the weather is quite nice and we keep the doors open. We spend our days handling whatever tasks come our way without much fuss. There’s no big hierarchy here; we all just pitch in when needed. Sometimes we sit outside under the shade of the trees when the sun is too strong in the afternoon. It’s a very simple setup, and we don’t try to make it look like something it’s not. We just do our work here in Muzaffarpur and take things as they come. It is quiet and peaceful.
