Saraswati Shishu Niketan

We are located in Block Bagra, specifically in the Dhindawali area of Muzaffarnagar. It’s a small school, nothing like those big city ones you see on TV. We have been here for quite a while now. Most of the families in this part of the block know where we are. The building is simple and we try to keep it clean. Kids come here every morning, mostly walking from the nearby houses. You can see them in their uniforms heading down the dirt paths. We have a few rooms for the different classes. It gets pretty busy during the morning assembly. We don't have a big office or a bunch of computers. It’s mostly just paper and pens and books. The teachers are from around here too. We all know each other. Sometimes we have to fix a desk or clear out some weeds from the play area. It’s just regular work. We don't really have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people talking to each other in the village. If someone needs to find us, they just ask at the local shop. It’s a quiet life most of the time, except when the school bell rings. We just do our bit for the kids here in 251318. It is not a grand place but it is ours and we keep it going year after year without making much of a fuss.
