D S N Public School. Our location is Buwara Kalan, which is a village in Muzaffarnagar. It’s a rural area, so the school is surrounded by a lot of green space and farmland. We have a simple brick building that houses all our classrooms. There isn't much noise around here, which is nice for teaching. We have a lot of students who come from farming families in the local area. The school day starts early to beat the heat. We don’t have a big office or a lobby. If you come to visit, you’ll probably find us sitting on the porch or in one of the classrooms. We handle everything ourselves, from ringing the bell to keeping the records in big handwritten ledgers. The kids are mostly well-behaved, though they get restless during the long summer days. We have a small area for sports where the boys play cricket with a plastic bat. Our resources are limited, so we make do with what we have. We don't have any flashy advertisements or a website that gets updated. People in Buwara Kalan know who we are because their older children or cousins came here too. It’s a community school more than anything else. We focus on the basics like reading, writing, and math. It’s a very practical, down-to-earth place to work and learn. We are just a small part of the village life here and it feels right.
