Khatauli Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited

Husainpurbopada is where we live and work. We are located at Hmendra’s place in Khatauli. It is a typical farming village where life moves with the seasons. We got together as a group of organic farmers because we wanted to keep things simple and avoid the chemicals that the big shops sell. Those things cost too much and we think they ruin the ground over time. So, we do things the way our grandfathers used to do. To be honest, it is a lot more work this way. You have to pull weeds by hand and keep a much closer eye on the bugs. But we like how the crops turn out. We aren't a big corporation with shiny trucks and logos. We mostly just use whatever equipment we have on hand. Our days start very early, usually before the sun is even up. We meet up for tea and plan what needs to get done. There is always something to do, like fixing a broken fence or checking the water pipes. We don’t have any mission statements hanging on the walls. We just have a calendar and some very dirty boots. People around Khatauli know us as the local organic guys. It is a plain and simple life and we don’t try to make it sound like anything more than it is. It is just farming.
