Kanahiya Infracon Engineers Private is based in Shamli, which is part of the Muzaffarnagar district. Our office is located at the home of Ashok Kumar, specifically at House Number 521 in Ward Number 16, Dhiman Pura. Since it is a residential area, it feels very different from a standard office building. We use a couple of the rooms for our daily work. There are always rolls of blueprints leaning against the walls and calculators scattered across the desks. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with different suppliers and checking on the progress of various projects. In the winter, it gets quite cold in this part of Uttar Pradesh, so we usually have a small electric heater tucked under one of the desks. During the summer, we just keep the windows open to let in whatever breeze we can get. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly, and we see the same people walking their dogs or going to the market every day. We do not have a large staff, just a handful of us who know the local area quite well. Most of our work involves making sure the logistics are handled and the materials are where they should be. It is a very hands-on way of doing things, and we don't worry much about being polished or professional-looking. We just want to get the job finished so we can head home.
