Hotel Green Castle

Being right on The Mall is a bit of a mix. We are right next to the court, so we get plenty of lawyers and people with legal business coming in and out. It’s an old spot. You can hear the bustle of the street from the front rooms, but it’s just part of the experience of being in this part of town. We’ve got a few floors and the stairs are a bit narrow, so keep that in mind if you have heavy bags. The staff knows the area well and can tell you which way to walk to avoid the biggest crowds. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people find us because they’re already nearby or someone told them about us. The rooms are okay, they have what you need like a bed and a small table. We spend our mornings getting the tea ready and making sure the lobby doesn't get too cluttered with stuff. It’s a busy place during the day because of the location. At night, it slows down once the court closes and the shops start shutting their doors. We try to keep the water running hot, though sometimes it takes a few minutes to reach the upper floors. It’s just how things are in these older buildings. We’re here most of the time if someone needs to check in late or has a problem with their key.
